And Then We Dance (“we”, “us”) is run by an individual based in California, United States. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].

• Your account: your email address, an optional first name, and your password, which is stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form we can't read.
• What you plan: everything you add to an event, such as its name, dates and places, your Blueprint answers, tasks, budgets and payments, vendors and their contact details, decisions, notes, and the images and files you upload.
• Your guests: names, households, contact details, RSVPs, and any dietary or accessibility notes you choose to record.
• People you invite: the email address you send an invitation to. Once someone joins, members of that event can see each other's name and email.
• Technical basics: a sign-in session stored on your device so you stay signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and time of a request) kept by our providers for security and reliability.

We don't use advertising trackers or sell or share your information for advertising.

• To run the service: saving your plans and showing them to you and the people you invite.
• To send the emails you ask for, such as confirming your account, sign-in links, password resets, and invitations.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
• To reply when you contact us.

Each event is private to its members. As the owner, you choose who joins and what they can do. Viewers can follow along but can't see budget amounts, vendor files, or guests' private notes. We access your information only when needed to run, secure, or support the service, or when the law requires it.

These providers process information on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage.
• Resend: delivering account emails and invitations.
• Cloudflare: hosting the website and protecting it from attacks.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States.

When you add guests, you're sharing their information with us so you can plan. Please only add what you need and have a reasonable basis to share, especially dietary and accessibility notes. Guests can contact us at [email protected] with questions or requests about their information.

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete something, it's removed from the service right away; copies in our providers' backups are overwritten within about 30 days. When you delete your account, we remove it along with every event only you were planning.

• Change or delete your plans at any time in the app.
• Delete your account from the Account page.
• Get a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected].

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. We'll answer requests within 45 days and may need to confirm it's you first.

Information travels over encrypted connections, each event's data is limited to its members by rules in our database, and uploaded files are private. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

And Then We Dance isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the date above, and let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
